As a Security Officer - Hotel Guest Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a hotel or resort location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help to deter security-related incidents and contribute to a welcoming environment for guests and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel or resort property and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to identify and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with hotel or resort staff and visitors, maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs, documenting observations and actions taken during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
