As a Security Officer - Front Desk - Weekends in Sinking Spring, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and patients. Your role includes managing access control, assisting with badge procedures, and providing outstanding customer service in a dynamic environment. What You'll Do:

  • Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff at the front desk of the healthcare location, providing outstanding customer service while following site-specific policies.
  • Monitor access to the building, verifying the identification of employees, patients, and visitors in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist with visitor registration processes and maintain accurate logs or documentation as required.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and/or critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with facility staff and other Allied Universal personnel to address security-related concerns and help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Communicate important information or incidents to appropriate personnel and/or law enforcement as directed by site protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter security-related incidents and provide a point of contact for inquiries.
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, following the procedures specific to the healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
