As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a government setting. Your primary responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, being highly visible to employees and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent is required.
• Must have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience, or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience, or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
• An Armed Guard Card or license is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• A Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
