Job Description


As a Security Professional - Residential Patrol Driver in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at this residential location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for residents and guests. This role involves conducting regular patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering excellent customer service through clear and courteous communication. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor entrances, common areas, and other designated locations as required by site procedures.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual behavior, or breaches of site protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, visitors, and property management.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel as needed during incidents.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Able to ride a bike.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
