As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents while providing a friendly presence to employees and customers. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, staying visible throughout the property to help to deter unwanted activity, and assisting with access control as needed. Exceptional customer service and clear communication are at the heart of this role, as you contribute to a welcoming and secure environment. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and identify any concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents to management and/or law enforcement as required.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or visitors to relay important information or instructions.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activities and provide assistance as needed.
• Follow all company and site protocols, including documentation and reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
