As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and foster a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter inappropriate or suspicious activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location, reporting any unusual observations or incidents as required.
• Assist employees, visitors, and/or customers with security-related inquiries and directions as needed.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or emergencies at the retail location.
• Complete detailed incident reports and maintain logs in accordance with Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a minimum of three years of combined experience in law enforcement, military, or security-related roles, or possess a college degree.
• Must hold a Level III armed certification.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
