Job Description


As a Security Professional – Hospital X-Ray Screener in Clairton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare environment, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming atmosphere for all staff, patients, and visitors. You will be visible throughout the location, respond to security-related situations, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, including following site-specific policies and responding appropriately to emergencies in a healthcare environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for any unusual conditions or situations.
  • Document observations and complete detailed reports regarding patrols, incidents, and any security-related events as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as needed to support a secure and orderly environment.
  • Follow established procedures for access control, visitor management, and other site-specific guidelines relevant to the healthcare setting.
  • Remain alert and ready to act in accordance with Allied Universal's standards and the needs of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be able to provide proof of required vaccines for hospital environments.
  • Must be able to work in hospital morgue settings.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals as required in hospital environments.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
