Job Description


As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Driver Unarmed in Van Nuys, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Professional with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. Your presence and proactive approach contribute to a secure atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting emergency response activities as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to observe and report on activities, helping to deter unwanted behaviors.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activities as observed during patrols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare facility staff and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns or incidents as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
