Job Description


As a Security Professional - Access Control Driver Role in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through your strong presence. You will provide exceptional customer service while maintaining clear communication with tenants and visitors. This post requires driving as part of your responsibilities. What You'll Do:

  • Manage access control processes at the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for visitors, employees, and vendors.
  • Provide customer service by answering inquiries, assisting with directions, and offering information as needed.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as surveillance cameras and access control systems, reporting any irregularities or suspicious activities.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, including directing occupants and coordinating with emergency personnel as required.
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily logs as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
