As a Security Professional - Armed Chemical Patrol Driver in Saint Louis, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations unique to chemical and petrochemical environments.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access.
  • Monitor sensitive areas and restricted zones, remaining alert to conditions that could impact the security-related integrity of the facility.
  • Document and report any suspicious activities, unusual incidents, or breaches of policy to Allied Universal management and/or site leadership.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required, following protocols specific to chemical and petrochemical operations.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and to provide reassurance for employees, visitors, and contractors.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
