As a Security Officer - Access Control Bank in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies for access control at financial institution locations.
  • Monitor and control entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including those related to access control and restricted areas.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or unauthorized access.
  • Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by site protocols.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and/or clients with access-related inquiries while upholding client-specific policies and procedures.
  • Support emergency response activities in accordance with established plans and protocols for financial institution environments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
