As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Financial Sector in Federal Way, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a PATROL_UNARMED Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within financial institution locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to everyone on site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal and/or client management.
• Assist employees, customers, and visitors at the location with security-related needs and inquiries as appropriate.
• Follow site-specific procedures for access control, visitor management, and incident reporting.
• Work closely with Allied Universal supervision and client representatives to address security-related issues as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
