As a Security Officer - Commercial Patrol Driver in Staten Island, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining visible throughout your assigned area. You will conduct routine patrols and interact with people on site, offering outstanding customer service and communication. This post requires a valid driver’s license as driving may be part of your responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Collaborate with property management and other personnel as necessary to support security-related operations and customer service objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
