As a Security Officer - Tech/Media Patrol Full-Time in Bellevue, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will monitor assigned locations and conduct frequent patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and professional communication will help create a positive atmosphere for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as security-related breaches, hazards, or unusual situations at the location.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or site personnel regarding security-related matters as necessary.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and directions in a professional manner.
• Follow all instructions and protocols as outlined by Allied Universal and the client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
