As a Security Professional Unarmed Patrol Driver CRE in Costa Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate location, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, and engage with tenants and visitors to deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for moving throughout the property. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond in a calm and problem-solving manner to incidents and critical situations that may arise at the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols within the commercial real estate property and around its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Assist in controlling access to the property by monitoring entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas.
  • Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal at all times.
  • Collaborate with local emergency services as required during incidents or emergencies at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
