As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Specialist in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or property damage to appropriate personnel.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site protocols.
• Maintain thorough and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Experience operating X-ray screening equipment is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
