As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for unusual activity.
• Monitor and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.
• Communicate professionally with the public and local authorities as needed while upholding the standards of Allied Universal.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities and/or incidents that occur during shifts.
• Assist with access control and visitor management to support site-specific requirements.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and adjust patrol routes as necessary to address unique aspects of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
