What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or appropriate authorities.
• Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and/or personnel while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
• Support emergency response activities in accordance with established protocols for the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
