As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the premises to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activities.
• Verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location, following site-specific protocols.
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by addressing inquiries and assisting with directions and site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner in accordance with established procedures.
• Document and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter security-related risks.
• Assist in the implementation of emergency response actions as needed, following location-specific guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of activities and incidents encountered during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
