As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence at a government location. Your role will focus on helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the government facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access.
• Report and document any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related breaches according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Operate communication devices to maintain contact with Allied Universal management and/or site supervisors.
• Adhere to all client and Allied Universal policies and procedures while performing armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
