As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Government Part-Time in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Carry and maintain control over authorized firearms in accordance with company policies and site-specific requirements.
  • Monitor access points and check identification or credentials as needed to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports related to security-related incidents, patrol activities, and observations during the shift.
  • Communicate and coordinate with law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary, ensuring timely and appropriate response to incidents.
  • Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while performing patrols and other security-related duties at the designated location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
