As a Security Guard - Media Facility Unarmed Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication to everyone onsite. By conducting regular patrols and maintaining visibility, you will play a key role in creating a secure atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for staff and visitors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology and media location, including the business interior and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry or activity within the facility.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, observations, and security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding any security-related concerns or incidents.
• Support a collaborative relationship with client staff, visitors, and vendors to promote a positive and secure atmosphere at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
