As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Government Site in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a dedicated armed patrol professional, where you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment at a government location. You will regularly patrol assigned areas, remain visible, and respond to various situations while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This armed post plays a key role in helping to maintain order and handling access control responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain order, in alignment with the requirements for an armed patrol post.
• Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or irregularities observed during patrols to Allied Universal and/or site management.
• Support access control by observing entrances and exits, verifying credentials as needed, and helping to manage visitor procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal guidelines.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when incidents arise, following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• 3 years or more of prior law enforcement, military or adult corrections experience or a complete bachelors degree in Criminal Justice is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
