Job Description


As a Security Officer - Auto Facility Patrol Driver in Sandy Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Allied Universal Patrol Officer at this automotive location, you will drive and walk throughout the premises to monitor and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, supporting access control, and responding to alarms, all while delivering outstanding customer service. This position requires a valid driver's license, as driving is an essential part of the role. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, including display areas, parking lots, and entry points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access to vehicles and property.
  • Document and report any incidents, observations, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Assist with visitor and/or employee access control procedures as needed, maintaining a professional presence at all times.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and onsite staff to address concerns and provide updates on security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
