As a Armed Security Professional - Retail Site in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading retail location, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to staff and visitors. This armed role requires you to maintain a professional presence while responding to incidents and assisting with a variety of security-related tasks. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and engaging in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the retail or mall location in a calm and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the business premises and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor for suspicious activities or hazards and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Document all incidents, observations, and actions taken during each shift accurately and timely.
• Interact professionally with store personnel, customers, and visitors while upholding Allied Universal’s standards of conduct.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and training requirements related to armed patrol duties in a retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess an active Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
