As a Security Professional - Unarmed Retail Patrol in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations to help create a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors. Your presence and attention to detail will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This position is a driving post, requiring you to conduct routine patrols across the premises. You will play a key role in supporting our caring culture and values by acting with integrity, delivering through teamwork, and being a reliable resource for the location you serve.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations within the retail location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Report and document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal's guidelines and location policy.
• Assist with access control and help guide visitors and employees as needed.
• Remain alert to security-related hazards and communicate promptly with Allied Universal supervision and/or local authorities as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
