As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by actively monitoring and patrolling retail and mall locations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies within retail and mall environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or disturbances to the appropriate personnel, following established protocols.
• Assist in enforcing access control policies and procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to store and mall patrons.
• Document and submit detailed reports regarding daily activities, incidents, and any security-related matters observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
