As a Security Officer - Government Facility Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attention. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to the public, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both interior areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any issues.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences, in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to staff and the public.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and site personnel during emergency situations or as directed by Allied Universal protocols.
  • Complete detailed reports and documentation related to all security-related incidents, activities, and observations during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
