What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail mall location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, acting in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the mall and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, being observant of any unusual circumstances.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site standards.
• Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, including guiding guests and tenants as needed during unusual situations.
• Collaborate with mall management and other Allied Universal personnel to address security-related concerns and provide a welcoming environment for visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
