As a Security Officer - Front Desk Monitoring in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will be the first point of contact at the location, providing a welcoming atmosphere while helping to deter potential security-related incidents. Your role involves greeting visitors, managing access, and delivering outstanding customer service with clear and professional communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Assist with access control by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs as required.
• Monitor security-related systems and report unusual activities or incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate and in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and team members as a representative of Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
