As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol in Oregon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned chemical and petrochemical locations. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you foster a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the chemical or petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any irregularities.
• Maintain awareness of the working environment, which may include sensitive materials or processes specific to the chemical and petrochemical industry.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or any actions taken during shifts according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to support a secure environment tailored to the unique needs of the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
