As a Security Guard - Logistics Center Patrol Driver in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and regular rounds will help foster a reassuring atmosphere for staff and visitors. This driving post requires you to operate company or client vehicles while conducting your patrols. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report observations according to site protocols.
• Support access control measures by observing ingress and egress of personnel, vehicles, and/or visitors to designated areas.
• Assist with maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions or unauthorized activities within the location.
• Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
