What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
• Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and members of the public while performing assigned duties.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings and report any maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• An armed guard card or license is required for this position.
• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
