Job Description


As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol Driver in Canyon Lake, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol the community, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for residents. This role involves conducting routine patrols—often on foot or by bike—while delivering excellent customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations throughout the residential community in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, including common areas and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential issues.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the proper authorities and/or Allied Universal management.
  • Work collaboratively with residents, visitors, and property management to address concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by the site.
  • Remain visible and approachable while on patrol to provide reassurance and assistance to residents and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least two years of security-related experience is required.
  • Candidates must be able to ride a bike for extended periods of time as part of their job duties.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
