As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Screener in Greenwood, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Screener in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor access points, patrol assigned areas, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. What You'll Do:

  • Greet and interact with employees and visitors in a professional manner while conducting security-related screening procedures at the facility entrance.
  • Carry out site-specific policies and security-related procedures to help maintain a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal protocols.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas within the industrial facility.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or breaches of protocol to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel.
  • Maintain a visible presence at assigned post to help to deter potential disruptions and provide customer service to all individuals entering the location.
  • Collaborate with facility staff and Allied Universal team members to support a secure and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
