As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Driver in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor the logistics and distribution location for unusual or prohibited activities, promptly reporting observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with controlling access to restricted areas within the location, verifying credentials as required by site-specific procedures.
• Support Allied Universal and location staff during emergency drills or real emergencies, following established response protocols.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities according to company and client site reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
