Job Description


As a Security Officer - Residential Access Control in Hampton, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter potential security-related incidents. You will be responsible for remaining visible, providing helpful assistance to residents and guests, and delivering exceptional customer service at all times. What You'll Do:

  • Assist residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures and site-specific policies at the residential location.
  • Help to deter unauthorized entry by monitoring entrances, exits, and common areas as part of access control duties.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established Allied Universal procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.
  • Provide customer service by addressing inquiries and directing individuals appropriately within the residential community.
  • Document and report any observations, incidents, or security-related activities according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
