As a Security Professional - Transit Center Patrol Unarmed in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the transportation environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings at all times while on patrol, reporting any unusual activity to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
• Document and communicate any incidents, observations, or relevant information in accordance with Allied Universal and location protocols.
• Assist passengers and/or staff with directions and information, supporting a welcoming environment within the transportation system.
• Coordinate with Allied Universal team members and/or location personnel during emergencies, drills, or special events, following established protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
