Job Description


As a Security Professional Armed Patrol Aero Sector in Renton, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you'll monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. As part of your role, you will conduct visible routine patrols, interact with staff and visitors, and utilize your armed and driving expertise to respond efficiently to any situations that arise. What You'll Do:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate de-escalation techniques.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and the site.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to control access and prevent unauthorized entry, following all site protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities during emergencies and/or critical incidents, following established communication procedures.
  • Remain alert and prepared to respond to unexpected situations, supporting a secure environment for personnel, assets, and visitors within the aerospace and defense location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
  • Must have an active armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
