As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media-focused location. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report incidents or concerns according to site guidelines.
• Assist with access control, verifying credentials and monitoring entrances for authorized personnel.
• Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and client staff to maintain a secure and welcoming environment at the location.
• Document activities, incidents, and observations in daily reports and/or incident logs as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
