Job Description


As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Rutherford, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a prominent food and beverage location, where you will conduct regular patrols and remain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. As part of our agile and reliable team, you will deliver exceptional customer service while monitoring the premises and assisting with access control. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a food and beverage environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to support access control measures.
  • Document and report any observed irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during incidents and/or emergencies as required.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter inappropriate behavior and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the location.
  • Adhere to all Allied Universal and site-specific policies and procedures while performing post duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
