What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings to help to deter theft, loss, or other security-related incidents in a manufacturing and industrial environment, including areas where food and beverage operations may take place.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances encountered during patrols.
• Interact with employees, visitors, and/or contractors in a professional manner while providing guidance or assistance as required by site procedures.
• Assist emergency personnel and Allied Universal management during emergency and/or evacuation situations as directed by post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
