What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the building interior, exterior, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any security-related concerns.
• Observe for signs of suspicious behavior or unauthorized access, and report any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with all individuals at the location, including employees, visitors, and Allied Universal management.
• Support emergency response activities according to site-specific plans and procedures.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
