As a Security Professional - Unarmed Healthcare Patrol in Duarte, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by performing regular patrols throughout a dynamic healthcare location. Your presence on foot and/or bicycle will help maintain a secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical emergencies and disturbances within the healthcare facility.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior and exterior areas of the healthcare location to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or hazards to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities as directed by site-specific policies.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying identification, and directing visitors as needed within the healthcare facility.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations and guiding emergency personnel as required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and incident reports related to daily activities and security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be able to provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• Handcuff, pepper spray, and baton training is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
