Job Description


As a Security Professional - Access Control Driver TWIC in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor designated areas and manage access points to help to deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and interact with personnel and visitors to provide excellent customer service. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

  • Manage access control procedures for authorized personnel and visitors at the site, following established protocols for a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities within the facility.
  • Perform regular and random patrols of the business premises and perimeter to observe and report on security-related conditions.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and/or visitors with inquiries related to site access and security-related protocols.
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all access control activities, incidents, and interactions as required by site-specific procedures.
  • Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, supporting site protocols and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the TSA is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
