As a Security Officer - Education Patrol Driver in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an educational location, where you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, staying present to promote a secure environment, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires a valid driver's license, as driving is an essential part of your responsibilities. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, staff, and students as needed, providing directions and information relevant to the location.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate reports of patrol activities, incidents, and observations.
  • Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and onsite contacts to address security-related concerns and support the overall security plan at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
