As a Security Professional - Healthcare Patrol Driver in Laguna Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence and attentive patrols help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. This is a driving post, where you will be responsible for regular patrols throughout the property and responding promptly to situations as they arise. What You'll Do:

• Provide professional customer service to individuals at the healthcare location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Help to deter unwanted activity and/or incidents by conducting regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following protocols appropriate for a healthcare environment.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with staff, visitors, and emergency responders as needed.
• Document and report observations and/or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
• Support access control by monitoring entries and exits and verifying credentials as appropriate for the healthcare setting.
• Assist in guiding and/or directing individuals during emergency situations or facility evacuations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
