As a Security Officer - Armed Utilities Patrol Driver in Bradley, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment within a utilities location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help create a sense of security, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as required.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe for any unusual conditions.
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings, especially within utility environments, and report any unusual activity or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and to control the flow of personnel and/or vehicles in accordance with site protocols.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by Allied Universal and client site procedures.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary and follow established protocols for armed patrol posts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Applicants must possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
