Job Description


As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication to all individuals on site. This is an armed and driving position, where your professionalism and reliability contribute to a secure environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, engaging in emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and company protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide a visible presence.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas at the location, being alert to potential security-related concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with on-site staff and law enforcement as needed to address security-related incidents.
  • Handle access control procedures and verify authorized personnel as required for the location.
  • Carry and responsibly handle assigned arms in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have at least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
