Job Description


As a Security Professional - Medical Center Patrol in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting professionally with staff and visitors, and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to individuals by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare setting in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.
  • Report and document all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
  • Assist staff, patients, and visitors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Work closely with healthcare staff and local emergency responders as needed to support security-related needs.
  • Remain alert and observant at all times, adapting to varying working environments and conditions within the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must provide proof of high school diploma or equivalent as required by the client.
  • Must meet all hospital vaccine requirements.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
